LNA Lunch ‘N’ Learn – How to Use Behavioral Testing to Improve Teamwork and Communication – A Panel Discussion @ OAISD
Mar 27 @ 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
Lunch N’ Learns provide nonprofit professionals an easy way to sharpen their knowledge and skills by learning about topics that are of interest to them. Lunch N’ Learns are held monthly at the OAISD (January – May, September – November). These are “bring-your own lunch” events.

Event Description:
Personality and behavioral testing is a great way to learn how to best communicate with your staff and team members. In this panel discussion, you’ll hear from 5 different practitioners about the value and benefits to your organization of using personality and behavioral tests including Kolbe, DISC, Strengthfinders, MBS and Enneagram. The insight into these different tests should help you determine which ones may be the best options for your organization. No testing will actually be conducted – this is an informational session.

Our panel will include the following representatives:

DiSC – Patrick Cisler
DiSC is a behavior assessment tool based on the DISC theory of psychologist William Moulton Marston, which centers on four different personality traits which are currently Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S), and Conscientiousness (C).

Enneagram – Jay Hidalgo
The Enneagram is a model of the human psyche which is principally understood and taught as a typology of nine interconnected personality types.

Kolbe – Monica Gravenhof
Kolbe measures your instinctive way of doing things and the result is called your MO (method of operation). It is the only validated assessment that measures a person’s conative strengths. Gain greater understanding of your own human nature and begin the process of maximizing your potential.

MBS – Barbara Lee VanHorssen
Management By Strengths (MBS) is a program designed to help companies increase productivity, improve customer satisfaction and employee morale.

StrengthsFinder – Abbey Johnson
StrengthsFinder is an assessment that helps individuals identify, understand and maximize their strengths. By exploring the ways in which you naturally think, feel and behave, StrengthsFinder can identify and build on the areas where you have infinite potential to grow and succeed.
