Leadership Transition Guide Program
The transition of an Executive Director is a major change that can have a significant impact on an organization’s future as well as the overall community. In order for the local nonprofit sector to continue to thrive into the future, LNA offers a consulting service to members called the Leadership Transition Guide Program. This low-cost service provides member nonprofits with a “Transition Guide” to help the board of directors navigate the challenging process of an executive transition.
LNA partnered with us on our search for our Executive Director. LNA’s connectedness in the community we live in and serve and also their knowledge of the Leadership search and hiring process was invaluable. LNA listened to our needs and provided a knowledgeable and independent perspective, and also kept us on task and to our timeline throughout the process. LNA was with us not only throughout the search and hiring process but their involvement continued with our new Executive Director to help ensure a smooth and successful transition. LNA is a valuable asset and resource serving our Non-Profit Community!
– Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity
The assistance, advice and guidance the Holland Museum received from the Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance was of enormous benefit to the search committee. As volunteers, we were in need of a focused approach to evaluating candidates, narrowing our choices and using the best possible process. LNA was prompt, thorough and generous in its support.
– Holland Historical Trust Board Member
Our board “didn’t know what we didn’t know”, so our participation in this program, and Patrick’s guidance, were invaluable. I encourage any non-profit organization experiencing a leadership change to avail itself of this program!
