HR Resource Center

In order to respond to the growing Human Resource needs of our members nonprofits, LNA has partnered with HR Collaborative to deliver HR expertise on demand through the HR Resource Center. HR Collaborative’s team of Senior Human Resource Consultants has the depth of knowledge to provide you with the answers you need.  We understand the urgency and provide answers in a format that makes sense to those outside of the HR profession.

How does it work?

Email your question to the HR Resource Center at hr@hrcollaborative.net to get the answers and resources for your HR questions. Be sure to identify your organization and that you are a member of the Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance. Topics covered include:

  • Benefits
  • Federal compliance
  • State employment law
  • Wage and hour laws
  • Discipline and terminations
  • Interviewing
  • Workers’ compensation
  • Job Descriptions
  • Compliance guidelines and checklists
  • HR Audit Checklist

The team of Human Resource experts is available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm (EST).  To reach an expert, email them your question and contact information. They will reply by email or telephone based on your request.  We strive to respond the same day, but always within 24 hours.

The HR Resource line is an excellent resource for:

  • Smaller organizations without HR professionals on staff
  • Organizations with experienced staff looking for a second opinion
