The Donor Engagement Manager is responsible for connecting individuals, corporations and institutions to our mission and vision through giving and engagement opportunities. This position co-creates major and corporate donor giving strategies with the Vice President of Development and then executes and manages a portfolio of major and corporate donors. This position supports the organization by cultivating one-time and annual major gifts, sponsorships, capital gifts, and legacy gifts.
Responsibilities & Essential Duties
Manages an annual donor portfolio of up to 175 major donor relationships (individuals, businesses, corporations, foundations); which includes researching, prospecting, qualification, cultivation, requesting and stewardship of donors.
Assists Vice President of Development to create annual revenue targets and annual fundraising strategy to support overall philanthropic goals within the major giving, corporate giving, capital and legacy programs at Community Action House.
Work closely with the Development Team to identify flexible funding to fulfill revenue gaps as part of overall fundraising strategy.
Cultivates and solicits event sponsorships to underwrite and support key events annually (Golf Classic, Farm to Food, CommunityFest and VolBash).
Collaborates with the Vice President of Development to enhance and relaunch a Legacy Giving program.
With support from the VP of Development, implements strategies and activities to build a pipeline of legacy donors and prospects, including the identification of legacy donors with the capacity to make current mid-level and major gifts.
Supports the CEO and VP of Development to co-create capital campaign strategies and timelines, identify prospective donors, and execute fundraising strategies to meet campaign goals.
Works cross functionally with the Communications team to support donor communications and corporate fundraising strategies.
Represents Community Action House at external networking events to strengthen brand affinity & liaise with Major and Corporate donors.

Overall Function: Kenzie’s Be Café is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to assist with our job training program. This person would work alongside and with the support of our Manager and Executive Director to build and run the program. The program coordinator will be responsible for overseeing café operations, maintaining records and files, collecting and analyzing data, managing support staff, and helping with marketing efforts. Although job training will be the main function of this position, it also requires someone to take responsibility of the café when the Manager is absent. Some weekend hours will be required.
