As the Director of Finance and Administration, you will lead the organization’s oversight of its financial wellbeing, including monitoring and forecasting revenue and expenses, oversight of grants and budgets, and making recommendations to maintain fiscal health. You will be responsible for the oversight of administrative and financial systems including finance, accounting, information technology, human resources, and facilities, and lead a team to ensure operational excellence.
The Market Management Assistant oversees daily inventory operations and facility upkeep at the Love in Action Co-op Market. This role provides guidance and support to department volunteers, ensures the market is consistently welcoming and well-presented for members, and contributes to strategies that enhance member experience and empowerment.
Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures
Provide support and training to volunteers to ensure successful completion of market inventory and facility care tasks
Oversee inventory control by receiving, stocking and maintaining product displays
Maintain accurate inventory of the Co-op Market using inventory control software, ensuring all products meet freshness and quality standards
Optimize resources by working closely with the Director of Community Engagement to ensure items are distributed efficiently and generously
Keep shelves clean, organized and well-stocked in alignment with market cleanliness and safety standards
Review and verify incoming orders for quantity, quality, weight and condition, ensuring all items are properly stored in designated areas
Ensure the market is clean, inviting, and fully stocked prior to each opening
Foster a warm, welcoming and empowering environment where members and volunteers feel valued and supported
Perform additional duties as assigned
Functional Requirements
Frequent: Physical – lifting/carrying 20 to 60 lbs., pushing/pulling 300 to 1000 lbs, reaching, squatting, kneeling, stooping/bending, turning, walking
The Food Operations Associate position at Hand2Hand will work to support the weekly tasks of the Food Operations team. Getting food into the hands of our hungry students is the fundamental purpose of our mission, and the work done through this position is vital to keep the food moving out to our community. As a member of the Food Operations team, you’d be doing a good mix of repeatable tasks with flexible details that are adaptable to the changing needs of Hand2Hand. The right individual will enjoy a variety of physical labor, customer service, and completing subparts of larger projects.
